Jurong is the westest region in Singapore which was once a forgotten area with large area of industrial buildings and HDB flats. Since ten years ago, great changes have taken place. Today, like some kind of Cinderella story, Jurong has become the hotspot with the rapid development of Nanyang Technological University, Tuas Port, Jurong Lake District and recently-announced Jurong Innovation District in Budget 2016.

2.Tuas Port Development: Singapore is not only the world’s largest container port, it also handles 50% of global crude oil production and it is the planet’s busiest transit port after Shanghai. Tuas Mega Port is the new economic motor of Singapore once its transferred from Tanjaong Pagar area which is going to develop into the great waterfront city in the future.
3. Jurong Lake District(JLD): it’s the largest state Regional Centre and commercial hub out of Central Business District(CBD).

Jurong Innovation District(JID): Jurong Innovation District(JID): it’s the first creative next-generation industrial district that house learning, research, innovation, and production activities together. It includes NTU campus, it’s another great initiative like One-north which hosts world-class research facilities and provides business park space.
